    Seems like a good Deal >>> http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820231487 ... 32 Gb's of 10666 Ram 4 x 8 Dimm's for $130 with a Promo Code for $20 off the $130. Wonder how much slower the 10666 Ram is than the 12800 Ram ???

DDR3-1600 is 20% faster then DDR3-1333 but that is relative to CAS latency (Lower = faster). That is why RAM with higher CAS is cheaper.

On the RAM STE\/E posted, just change the timings to 8-8-8-24, change voltage to 1.60V and it's the almost same thing. Or leave the timings alone and change it to 1600MHz at 1.65V. Easy work-around to save a few $$

    Example...

It had power but for some reason my monitor wasn't detecting a video source. Opened up my case to diagnose the problem and.... yup, you guessed it.... found a nice radiant pool of green coolant all inside the case. One of the fixtures attached to the pump had popped right off.

Other Thoughts: Pretty sure I lost both 7850 video cards in my system. Not sure about the processor or any of my other components yet ( good thing I have a backup computer). Will have to wait till I get back from work tonight to assess the full extent of the damage. If you intended to install this unit into your rig, please double check the fixtures to make sure they're secure (don't look as nearly as secure as the old H100 fixtures, which I own). I would really hate to see this happen to anyone else. One of the perils of water cooling I suppose. Lesson learned ...the hard way.
