Hahaha...you two... I know, that's what makes crunching fun!

Tell you what, you're going to have to both crunch separate projects, and then AGREE to start the same project at the same time, on day X in order to not have build-up affect your credit score.
I've even seen nearly a whole day delay in MW reporting before, so nothing is immune to that. If one of you switches and/or is already crunching the project before the other, it's not accurate.

With all of that in mind, it sounds like this might be a bit impractical to do.

I figured that you could just start two projects say now on Wednesday the 26th and allow them to run into Friday the 28th then go bad and look at the validated tasks for Thursday, add all of those up and get a ballpark figure.

Oh, sure, that makes sense too, if you just want a ball-park of what each rig can do. The best way to do that would be to crunch project X for a week, and then each of you take an average from Free-DC... Good luck to both of you! Definitely waaaaaaay outta my league!

    That's pretty...

This would actually be pretty close. Technically, I have more GPUs in the Silver Hammer (2x5970 vs. 3x5870), but I can't clock mine as high as you can. I bet we could both do about 1M/day out of these boxes if we pushed it.

Another thought: there really is no reason why we have to both do this on the same day. If you want, crunch Collatz on the GPUs for exactly 1 day, then abort all other tasks. Wait for all your WUs to validate, and compare your daily total to my box average. Should give us a pretty good guage...

Good idea, I will do that.

I'm very please with this rig... I love seeing my credit per day sky rocket; I feel that I can finally run with the Big Dogs now.

Hehe... it is pretty awesome. On a happy note, I finally got the 5870 back from RMA, so I can put it back in the work box...

It's not the size of your case that matters... it's how... eh... well... it is the size of your case that matters.

So speaking of that bet, STM...

I totally forgot these pages existed. Here is the Silver Hammer running DNETC: http://stats.free-dc.org/stats.php?p...ne&hostid=9445

And yeah, you read that right - over 1M credits yesterday from a single box. Bow down to me now...

Speaking of which, what's the status of the Spanker, JPM?
