    So based on the thread you linked to, the best system to crunch this project is an AMD Phenom II with DDR3 memory running a 64 bit Linux distro.

    Oh, and the uploads are 3.4 Megs each. So be careful if you're low on bandwidth.

    Well, the thread linked there does state the Windows memory allocation overhead means the Windows version should run slower than the Linux version.

    Yeah. But all that stuff they listed is pretty much stock stuff. It's what *should* be. That is not based on any actual data yet. We'll see! And OSX doesn't have any of the win handicaps.
