I am starting to dislike Mozilla!

Updated to FF 12 to fix the problem with the forum not displaying correctly. Then I started getting intermittent screen flicker! I thought it was my 5830 going bad. after cleaning, fixing a problem I discovered and fabbing an air filter for the intake fans, the problem persisted. TG I backed up my old install b4 upgrading to 12. Renamed the FF folders for data and user profiles, then restored the backup. Viola! Problem fixed.

I have to agree. I have been using google since FF 8 or 9. I may even considers Explorer at this point.

Have you tried Waterfox recently? Seems pretty fast on Win7 X64...just a thought? I guess I'm kinda old school, though in some ways because I just end up using what works - I have waterfox and IE9 on my rigs these days.

I have it but I need to upgrade to the latest release. If it works better the 3.6.28 then it will be my goto browser.

I use chrome and safari on my macs. I use FF only for ikariam, and the CR converter.

FF12 did even worse on me - it would actually BSOD my system any time I tried to use it while the cards were crunching.

Sorry for bringing up this old post...I just recently found the Comodo IceDragon browser..

Have any of you tried that?

    http://www.comodo.com/home/browsers-...on-browser.php

I have installed it. But it seems it not as fast as the regular FF

I haven't tried it but from the their description I'd say it's slower because of the integrated malware scanner. Also the default DNS server used by IceDragon might have something to do with it to.

Re: Which browser are you hooked on?

I tried it and it seemed slower than Firefox. Not sure why but it also would not pick up any of my info from FF like favorites etc. Gave up on it and uninstalled it.
