Today, I almost pulled in 5K in Mersenne. That's with two dual cores running at 3 Ghz and 64 bit Linux.
We're almost a half way to 1M as a team. The way credits seem to be coming out now, it may be a good time to push for the team million-stone.

Do they report both claimed and granted credit? If so, what is the ratio of granted/claimed?

Seems to like AMD a lot more than intel. My Core2 machines are getting only ~20 c/h.
That's the kind of info that would be good on a "project strategy" sticky inside the new team only forum there.
If we compile enough data on when and how to crunch each project, as a team, we would be light years ahead of the "Average Joe" in efficiency.
It looks like more of a case of it liking Linux more than Windows. Of course the project admin crunches with Gentoo. His completion times match mine pretty well.
(I think this is one that Mr. Hankey should probably jump on for a while)
Well, after further investigation, yes, AMD definitely has an advantage.

Which is the greater advantage? Linux over Windows or AMD over Intel?
My AMD box runs WinXP x64. Is it worth the effort?
Run 10 tasks, figure out the c/h average, and let us know what you learn!
The people who are doing best by far are the ones using 64-bit Linux on AMD.
