Thanks! Wife and I are super excited. It'll be a fun new experience to start putting those "handy" skills I learned in my youth to actual use. And I don't think I've threatened to burn the place down yet!

And we live in a school zone, ~0.25 miles from an elementary school. So learning how to yell at those damned kids will be high on the priority list...

Hah! My goal in life is to be just creepy enough that the neighborhood kids stay away from my yard, but not so creepy that I'm legally prohibited from living near a school.

My recent project? Finally upgraded the GPU in my desktop (Thx Ste\/e for the deal). Now it's sporting a MSI HD 7970. Of course I "had to" water cool it.......









Installed it yesterday but haven't had time to tweak the clocks. Now it's time to call it a night. (This took forever to post from my phone).

My turn for the electrician He'll be here thursday and friday which will suck because it'll hurt my pentathlon bunkering a little. But after he's done, i'll finally be able to run all of my GPUs at the same time! I'm not as lucky as Mumps though...gonna cost me $2900, but that's mainly because i'm also having the guy bring the entire house up to code.

Looks totally awesome F$. Much better than the mandatory upgrade/tradeoff I had to do. Being down to one good gpu after blowing my wad on some of the parts for my next build left me in a bad spot. That's over twice the card I picked up. Maybe I'll return it after the Pentathlon once I'm done with it and needing something more. lol
