What did *you* upgrade today?

I have had it to 4.7ghz, but I had to increase voltage and I didn't like the Temps with my air cooler. It didn't throttle, but it seemed a bit of overkill for a 24/7 cruncher for the small increase in credits/day. The 3770k's run easily at 4.4ghz.

Since I didn't have much time or warm clothes, I set everything to auto on the 3770k and used Intel's XTU. It started throwing errors at 4.5ghz on stock voltage. I think its stable at 4.4 and temps are acceptable in the high 60s. Another one of those things I should have done a while ago.

So I'm trying to get a benchmark between my X5650s, (12 cores HT0 at 2.66gHz versus my E5-1650v2 at 3.5gHz (12 cores HT). Like a dummy I used Rosetta@home which has a target CPU time, so the times were the same. However granted credit was a 37% increase in favor of the E5-1650v2. Anyone compared the E5s versus the X56XX on any other projects? I'm going to try this out on some raytrace rendering now (Maya / vRay)

That was for my Comcast Service. Needed the RG-6 so I could move my gateway to a different room. And the CAT-6 to connect my AV stuff (via a Netgear ProSAFE GSS108E Click Switch) and gaming rig to the gateway.
