Question: For DropBox did you place the image in the "Public Folder" ?

Right. There is no limit to any dropbox file other than total file size, not to exceed 2gb for the whole (free) account.

The problem isn't Dropbox. My image links work perfectly fine on Facebook, Skype and Hangouts. But not here.
